Top 11 Cars to Pull Chicks

There are cars and then there are cars that hit a woman right in the baby-maker. They’re not all sports cars like you might think. Many words describe these magical machines, but here, at this G-rated site, I call them panty droppers.

Women are drawn to their power in inexplicable ways, like the way they are drawn to that guy you know, that has no job, but that has crazy mojo and even he can’t explain how he pulls so much tail…but I digress…

Some women say men buy expensive or flashy cars to compensate for their manhood. Those women are jealous, hateful skanks.

After detailed Conjoint analysis, 1^st person data collection, and thousands of dollars on data mining, the following are the top 11 vehicles women admitted the most mystical attraction to.

11. Porsche Cabriolet

This is an easy one. Anything that’s stylish and around six figures works well. The well known German marquee seals the deal.

10. McLaren SLR

Oh yeah. Gull-wing sports car. Red leather. Really long and ribbed on the sides. This one scored well with the “celebutante” demographic.

9. The Pick-up Truck

The numbers don’t lie and for some reason women just dig the truck. The bigger the better. If it’s so big that you can’t get it into a gas station, it’s about 6 inches short of cool enough. Their allure is so strong that even men are sometimes sucked in, as illustrated in this picture.

8. Lamborghini Gallardo

The car just looks like it reeks of cologne, gold chains and flashy watches. Bright colors indicative of look-at-me a-hole drivers. An excellent choice.

7. 68 Chevy Camaro

The bad boy. Mean, loud, and always emanating gasoline fumes. It says, no, I\’m not a hybrid and I couldn\’t stop with two feet on the brakes, going uphill. Hop in baby.

6. The Creeper Van

If you wanna pull chicks, this is what you need. Plenty of room. Throw a couch or a futon and a disco ball in back. Or some chloroform. You wouldn\’t think the ladies would go for this but obviously the numbers don\’t lie and the surveys came back saying that many women had memorable experiences in this type of vehicle, especially in Palmdale.

5. Bentley GT

Large, classy, fast. It says I\’m cool and you\’re not. Women swoon in the streets.

4. Ferrari 588 GTB

Beautiful GT sports car full for European racing pedigree. It even sports pictures of prancing ponies all around the car to remind attractive women of their not so distant youth (preferably 1 to 3 years ago).

3. 5.0 Mustang

Again, similar to the truck and Creeper Van, the 5.0 Mustang pulls the ladies in like a puppy sale. You don’t think so? You take a look at who’s in the passenger seat next time you pass one of these (because it won’t be passing you). Try not make eye contact with the driver if there’s a Raiders sticker on it. Actually, just don’t make eye contact with the driver at all.

2. The Oscar Mayer Mobile

Women are VERY attracted to this vehicle! Survey comments explain that the attraction is due to the bright colors, shiny wheels and the wholesome American culture it promotes. The fact that it looks like a giant 27 foot-long wang has completely nothing to do with why it showed up in the survey results.

*Mega expensive cars or sports cars like the Enzo Ferrari and Bugatti Veyron were omitted simply because if you have enough money to buy one you can probably buy people too and it makes it impossible to analyze their panty-dropping utility.

Top 5 Most EVIL Cars

*This list excludes the Maybach Exelero sports car/luxury cruiser, which is obviously the most Bad Ass and evil car ever.

1. The Deathmobile

Built in limited numbers by Ford Motor Co. The turret and escape hatches were optional equipment. This combination of options was rare. Only 47 were actually produced. A wide variety of colors were available as long as they were black. The car was relatively unknown until it was made a popular by the movie Animal House.

2. Lamborghini Revention

Similar in appearance to a Stealth Fighter and pumping out 650 hp, this sports car has been known to make pedestrians run for cover and missile defense systems in China light up like a Christmas tree.

3. TVR Sagaris

An awesome British sports car. 400hp. 2513lbs. No airbags. About 2 dozen slits and grooves. No ABS. It’s…it’s just wicked. I mean look at it.

4. Mad Max Interceptor

Born as a 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe and only sold in a land founded as a penal colony, this supercharged, nitrous-fed monster not only survived an apocalypse, it fueled a mission of vengeance, revenge and bloody murder. Oooooooooohhhhhhhh!

5. The Pope Mobile

The holiest of sports cars… What? You’re telling me you wouldn’t want to drive this bad boy around town? The vehicle comes with a water cannon and on board holy water at 320psi, in case of emergency.  There’s a 20,000 volt security system, and secret compartments deploy rosary beads from the rear license plate. Spinning crucifixes protrude from the wheel spokes to fend off pagans that get t0o close.

 Maybach Exelero

Few show cars actually have any specs to back up their looks, but this is no normal display.   It is a one-of-a kind beast! A sports car in luxury cruiser clothes. Although just a prototype, the car will rush 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and has reached 218mph, despite weighing 2.6 tons!

The Lexus IS-F is set to stun our states in March of 2008.

Many companies have taken a stab at matching or besting BMW’s M division. Their award winning sport sedans and coupes are a consistent industry benchmark. Mercedes has made a valiant effort, but appeals to a different crowd; one more concerned with bragging rights than driver enjoyment.

This new Lexus has a shot of stealing the BMW thunder.

The IS-F: 8 speed, paddle shifting, 416 horsepower, 303 cubic inch V-8…. This is a Japanese car right?

For a frame of reference, a new Corvette blasts to 60 is 4 seconds flat.

One word: FAST!

Check out the video at Road & Track and listen to this beast at Laguna Seca. It sounds great! It sounds unlike anything I’ve ever heard out of Japan.

Lexus isn’t known for making masculine muscle cars. They build high quality cars that make you forget you were ever driving. However, they were a ground-breaking division when they came to the states in the late 1980’s. The Germans had the luxury sedan market cornered like France in 1940 when Lexus offered a better car at a lower price and tore into the German’s market share.

The new IS-F car looks like it’s poised to make a renaissance of Lexus success in their combination of M3 matching performance with Japanese technology, quality and candor.

In my opinion, Lexus has two challenges to overcome that will determine if this car is truly a success.

1. Can they convince buyers that a Lexus can be fun to drive and not just a reliable car with more power?
2. Can they attract the younger buyers that this car is meant for?

Only time will tell if the new F division will be a winner, but if nothing else, Lexus has opened some German eyes to a rising sun.

Science and Cars

So, Toyota made a robot that can play a violin…

According to the company, “robotics was a natural extension of the automaker’s use of robots in manufacturing, as well the development of technology for autos related to artificial intelligence, such as sensors and pre-crash safety systems.”

Um, okay.  Can you just make a car that doesn’t crash, or can drive the car without crashing?  That would be nice.

This is video is so many things. It’s retarded, it’s gay, but it’s cool that they made something that can do that. It’s also funny because it looks like ASIMO has to take a crap when he runs. 

Although the concept of an automotive company making a robot to play a violin seems abstract, the idea of working with a company that has that much money to develop toys is kind of cool.

Over the years, seemingly unrelated science has found it way into very useful applications in the auto industry and science and cars have gone hand in hand. New sciences have made our cars faster, safer and, just better.

All kinds of metals and synthetic materials, like aluminum and carbon fiber have made sports cars what they are today.  They made them, lighter stronger, more rigid, more flexible and everything in-between.

Looking into future I can’t imagine how ASIMO’s abilities will make our cars better, but I’m sure if there’s a profit to be made, someone will find a way

Danica Patrick is not the best driver. She’s just a good driver in a series whose life seems limited, but Danica Patrick is the best thing to happen to American racing this decade and one could debate if the IRL (Indy Racing League) would still be around without her.

Danica has revitalized the league and caused millions of men AND women to tune in and advertisers to dump money into the game.

She’s #9 in the points race, but she’s the biggest name in auto racing in this country.  Is it because she’s pretty? Yes!   She’s competing with legacy names like Andretti and Foyt, but she gets all the press and attention, and who cares?  Men like hot chicks, especially ones that know about cars and women should be happy for the doors she has opened.

Women like Lynn St. James have competed professionally (15 starts at Indy), but the doors were blown open when Patrick hit the track.

Danica has made cause for women drivers to enter and be taken seriously, 1) because she’s good, and 2) because she can get funding as well as anyone else. At this point I don’t think anyone is expecting a woman to win a championship, but at least they’re seen as competition and not a novelty. 

Auto racing in America is gasping for air and anything that gets attention is good for me a good for you. It might be sexist, it might be chauvinistic, but Danica Patrick is hot, drives fast and has the country’s attention (and mine).
